Allatoona Weekly Crappie Fishing Report: The first full week of December 2023 is almost behind us and we made the most out of couple of a couple of days on the water. This was not a great week due to a small cold snap at the beginning of the week but we were able to find a few crappie towards the end of the week. We trolled the south end of the lake this Thursday and found some crappie that wanted to bite! We found schools in 11' to 14' of water trolling at .8 mph. We caught crappie, spots and catfish on several jig styles. Talon 2.0 in Spring Craw, Kic'n Chic'n in Pappy's Magic and Pearl (With Dipped Chartreuse Tail). Slab Dragon in Watermelon Orange test color caught both crappie and spotted bass. The crappie are forming schools now and right on time! The trolling bite is about to be on fire all over the lake!

Hopefully this report will help you the next time you are crappie fishing on Lake Allatoona. Lord willing we will have another great report next week!
